Motivation, problem-solving and efficient time management.

Students will gain an understanding of:

  • What motivates them as individuals using Maslow’s hierarchy model
  • The principles of maintaining self motivation for career development or consolidation.
  • The techniques of problem solving, including recognition of limits of own expertise and when and whom to ask for help
  • Efficient time management and prioritising tasks in the context of their role and accountability.
  • Being aware of and managing stress and knowing where to seek support i.e. through occupational health, peer group or mentor.

This session will focus on the needs of the individual, leading to an understanding of how our innate characteristics affect and influence our performance.
